Those whose turnover does not exceed 70,000 euros for the provision of services and 170,000 euros for sales are automatically subject to a flat-rate regime (the microphone) allowing them to determine their result by indicating the amount of their income. On their 2042 C PRO declarations (the administration applies an allowance of 34, 50 or 71% depending on the activity carried out). They can opt for the actual scheme and are required to file a wad.
There are two declarative regimes for the real:
The simplified reality concerns companies with a turnover of between 170,000 and 789,000 euros for sales and between 70,000 and 238,000 euros for the provision of services
The normal reality is applicable when these last thresholds are exceeded
In the context of normal reality, the formalities are more substantial (no more annexes to complete).
VAT returns
Operators with a turnover of less than 33,200 euros for the provision of services and less than 82,800 euros for sales benefit as of right from the basic franchise regime and do not have to produce VAT returns. They can choose to be subject to VAT, in order to recover the VAT invoiced upstream. In these cases the use of the tax return calculator is important.
There are two declarative systems for VAT:
- The actual simplified regime applicable in the event of an option or when the turnover does not exceed 789,000 euros for sales and 238,000 euros for the provision of services. In this case, the company must establish an annual declaration summarizing all of its operations and allowing payment of the balance. It must pay down payments when the amount of VAT due exceeds 1,000 euros.
- The actual normal regime, applicable when these thresholds are exceeded or when an option is produced. In this case, the declarant must send each month to the administration a declaration recapitulating the operations carried out during the previous month. When the amount of annual VAT does not exceed 4,000 euros, it is possible to opt for the filing of a quarterly declaration.
Corporate tax returns
Companies subject to the SI must send an annual income statement to determine the taxable income (profit or loss).
- This declaration is made up of a 2065 package and its annexes.
- It must be filed no later than 3 months following the closing (for example, for a fiscal year ending August 31, the package must be filed before November 31).
- For the financial years ended December 31, the deposit must be made no later than the 2nd working day following May 1.
- The tax must be paid by installments and the balance is paid by means of a balance statement No. 2572.
- There is a real simplified or normal regime, the thresholds of which are the same as for companies subject to IR.
CVAE and CFE declarations
The CFE (business property contribution) and the CVAE (business value added contribution) are the two components of the CET (territorial economic contribution), which has replaced the business tax. The CFE is based on the rental value of property liable to property tax.
