We are fully aware that payment for only hospitalisation costs is insufficient because we have years of expertise in this industry. There are other additional factors that must be taken into account, or your estimate could be completely ruined. We have made it a point to include them in the coverage of health insurance in order to assist you in paying for all of your medical bills.
Similar to this, recovering after a medical treatment after being released from the hospital frequently necessitates spending on things like doctor appointments, occupational therapy sessions, and drugs.
- Pre and Post-Hospitalization Expenses: You are only admitted to a hospital on the advice of your consulting doctor or another expert if they believe the condition cannot be treated at home with prescription medication and requires inpatient care. However, your consultant doctor must thoroughly investigate the origin of the medical illness using various diagnostic and investigative techniques, which can be quite expensive.
- Ambulance fees: Some illnesses are so severe that the patient must choose ambulance transportation to the hospital. Even the expense of ambulance services may seem excessive when you are already struggling with mounting medical debt. *
- Medical Repatriation: If your medical condition requires it, as determined by our doctors and advisors, we shall arrange to have you returned to your registered address following the policy’s timetable using the most appropriate mode of transportation. We will set up the repatriation via air ambulance with medical supervision if using a regular air carrier is impossible.
- Daily allowance: We recognise that, in addition to the costs associated with the hospital stay and medical care, receiving treatment at the hospital results in additional financial losses for you or any other insured family member. If the person receiving treatment was employed but had to take a leave of absence owing to the hospitalisation, there is also the potential loss of income.
- Cost of health check-up: After a block of four claim-free policies with us, our policy reimburses the costs associated with a medical check-up or checks. During the block of four claim-free periods, you are qualified for no more than 1% of the typical total covered.
- Vaccination – In our opinion, prevention is preferable to treatment. Medical research has advanced significantly while millions of people have experienced the rapid progression of numerous serious illnesses. Today, several new vaccines are available to help stop the spread of many of these diseases.
- Cumulative Bonus: Contrary to popular belief, your health insurance coverage in India premium does not expire if no claims are made against it during a given year. We reward our customers with a cumulative bonus feature that increases your health insurance plans for family coverage by a specific amount, over the sum insured, for each year without a claim.*
Customizing your individual health insurance policy with additional benefits can provide comprehensive coverage and peace of mind.
